SPE Suez SC is part of the global Society of Petroleum Engineers — the world's largest organization for oil and gas professionals — and our chapter proudly represents this international community at Suez University.

Rooted at the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering in Suez — the cradle of Egypt's energy industry — SPE Suez SC operates far beyond a conventional student chapter. We function as a rigorous development accelerator where aspiring engineers translate classroom theory into industry-ready mastery across upstream engineering, drilling optimization, and energy transition.
Our structure operates with corporate discipline across 8 dedicated segments and 18 specialized committees — spanning Technical, Operations, Marketing, HR, IT, Treasury, Development, and Secretariat. Through signature regional milestones like SSPS, SPEak, PACE, and our peer-reviewed publications, our members orchestrate large-scale summits, manage cross-functional projects, and interface directly with international energy operators long before graduation.
